Overview

After you sign in, the ALYPOD Console dashboard gives you a single view of your Pods, resource usage and recent activity. This article explains each area so you can find what you need quickly.

Dashboard areas

  • Pods — every CPU Pod you own, with its status, IP address, plan and location. Click a Pod to open its detail page.
  • Resource graphs — live and historical CPU, RAM, disk and network usage for the selected Pod. Use these to decide when to resize.
  • Actions — Start, Stop, Reboot, Reinstall and open the VNC/console for a Pod. Most actions take effect within seconds.
  • Backups & snapshots — create or restore a snapshot before risky changes.
  • Networking — view IP addresses, set reverse DNS and manage firewall rules.
  • Billing summary — your outstanding balance, next due date and latest invoice from account.alypod.com.

Reading Pod status

  1. Running — the Pod is online and reachable.
  2. Stopped — powered off; compute is not billed but the disk is retained.
  3. Provisioning — the build is still running; wait before connecting.
  4. Rebuilding — an OS reinstall is in progress.

Tips

  • Pin frequently used Pods so they appear at the top of the list.
  • Check the resource graphs before resizing to confirm you actually need more CPU or RAM.
  • Watch the billing summary so you are never surprised by a renewal date.

Troubleshooting

  • Problem: Graphs are empty. Solution: Newly deployed Pods take a few minutes to report metrics.
  • Problem: A Pod shows Stopped unexpectedly. Solution: Check the activity log on the Pod detail page, then open a support ticket if the cause is unclear.
