Overview
ALYPOD supports several ways to pay invoices. This article explains the options and how to add or remove them at account.alypod.com under Billing → Payment methods.
Accepted methods
- Credit or debit card — Visa, Mastercard and American Express. Cards can be stored for automatic renewal payments.
- PayPal — link your PayPal account or pay one-off invoices through PayPal.
- Account credit — a prepaid balance that pays invoices automatically. See the dedicated article.
Bank transfer may be available for large accounts on request; contact support.
Adding a payment method
- Sign in at account.alypod.com.
- Go to Billing → Payment methods.
- Click Add payment method and choose card or PayPal.
- Enter the details and confirm. Cards may require a small verification charge that is refunded.
- Set the new method as default for automatic renewals.
Managing methods
- Remove a card under the same page using the delete action.
- If a card expires, add the replacement before the old one fails on a renewal date.
- Keep the billing address on the card matching your ALYPOD profile to avoid declines.
Troubleshooting
- Problem: A card is declined. Solution: Check the card number, expiry and CVV, confirm the billing address, and ensure the card allows online/international payments.
- Problem: Renewal payment failed. Solution: Add a valid default method and pay the outstanding invoice promptly to avoid suspension.
- Problem: You want to stop automatic charges. Solution: Switch the default to account credit and top up manually, or use PayPal for one-off payments.
