Overview

If you no longer need a CPU Pod or another ALYPOD service, you can cancel it from account.alypod.com under Services → My Services. Cancellation stops future renewal charges; the service stays active until the end of the paid period.

Before you begin

• Back up all data you want to keep — cancellation is permanent once the period ends.
• Export or download invoices you need for your records.
• Remove DNS records pointing at the service to avoid broken sites.

Steps

1. Sign in at account.alypod.com.
2. Open Services → My Services and select the service.
3. Click Request cancellation.
4. Choose the cancellation type: End of billing period (recommended) or Immediate.
5. Give a reason (optional) and confirm.
6. Watch for a confirmation email. The service shows a Cancelled status until it ends.

What happens next

• End of period: the service runs until the due date, then is terminated and the disk is wiped.
• Immediate: the service is stopped and terminated straight away. Data cannot be recovered.
• No further invoices are generated for the cancelled service.

Troubleshooting

• Problem: You cancelled by mistake. Solution: If the end date has not passed, open a ticket promptly to reverse the cancellation.
• Problem: Still being billed. Solution: Confirm the cancellation was submitted, not just a plan change. Check the service status and the invoice line items.
• Problem: You only want to stop paying for part of it. Solution: Downgrade the plan instead of cancelling.
