Overview

ALYPOD Cloud is a hosting provider that sells virtual private servers, which we call CPU Pods. Each Pod is a self-contained virtual machine with dedicated vCPU, memory, NVMe disk and its own IPv4 (and optional IPv6) address, deployed in seconds from the ALYPOD Console. This article explains what you can build with ALYPOD and how the product families fit together.

What you can run

  • Shared CPU Pods — general-purpose VMs where vCPU is shared between tenants. Great for websites, staging systems and low-traffic apps.
  • Dedicated CPU Pods — vCPU cores reserved exclusively for your Pod. Use these for databases, CI runners and steady, CPU-bound workloads.
  • NVMe Disk Pods — Pods tuned for high-IOPS storage. Ideal for database-heavy apps.
  • Windows Pods — Windows Server licences on Pod hardware for RDP and .NET workloads.
  • ARM aarch64 CPU Pods — energy-efficient Arm servers for compatible Linux stacks.
  • Storage Boxes and S3 object storage — off-Pod capacity for backups and static assets.
  • Domains, DNS and control-panel licences — cPanel, CWP and Plesk available alongside your Pods.

How it fits together

  1. Create an account at account.alypod.com.
  2. Add funds or a payment method in the billing area.
  3. In the ALYPOD Console, choose a Pod family, location and operating system, then deploy.
  4. Connect over SSH (Linux) or RDP (Windows) and start building.

Billing is monthly or hourly depending on the plan, and you can scale a Pod up or down from the Console at any time. All Pods include DDoS protection and self-service re-installs.
